Support the Warrior - Jason
Donation protected

Jason has been battling diabetes for most of his life. “Battle” is not an exaggeration either. He has spent countless hours /days in dialysis, lost limbs, suffered heart attacks, and actually coded and left us for over 20 minutes. (If you read his wife and daughter’s moving account of that day, you may have a glimpse of the terror they felt.)
Jason is facing yet another complicated major surgery today as they try and restore blood flow to his remaining foot. Diabetes has taken a toll on his veins and they are very diseased. When I read this, all I could think was “Dear God, how can we help?”. I reached out to Jason’s fierce, bad ass wife Tawny and learned how much the countless appointments, surgeries and setbacks are costing in terms of missed work.
During all of this, he has had the amazing support of his family and close friends. Some of us have watched his journey on Facebook and could only pray from miles away, and not once have I ever seen anything requested other than prayer. It is now time for us to show a different kind of support. If Jason has ever made you laugh, been there while you cried, or you are just inspired by his endless warrior’s strength, please give what you can and share to your Facebook page.
Jason, I am in awe of you. Not once during this crucible have you lost your will to fight to stay with the ones you love. The love you inspire from your wife, daughter, son, grandbabies, mom, sister, brother and so many others is palpable. We love you whether miles or years may separate us. You are forever singing, dancing, and wearing sequins in my heart.
