My name is Zak Barry. My fiancé's parents, Denyse and Danny Wallace just recently lost their house due a spontaneous fire that broke out in the morning of August 5th, 2024. The cause of the fire is unknown, but the damage was severe. Denyse and Danny reside in Big Oak Flat, CA. They have been residents of Tuolumne County for over 40 years. Danny is a saw operator at SPI (Sierra Pacific Industries) Inc. Denyse is unfortunately unable to work due to medical reasons and is on disability. They have a 17-year-old son, Corbin Wallace who is about to start his senior year of high school. They also have 2 dogs, Sarge and Kane. They sadly lost their cat Jinx to the fire. This fire has put them in a very tough situation, as Danny is working over 40 hours a week and they rely mostly on his income due to Denyse being on disability. The house was sadly completely destroyed and will need to be demolished, and they lost almost all of their belongings. They are great people and mean a great deal to me and my fiancé and they don't deserve this. I am here to ask for assistance with getting Denyse, Danny and Corbin back on their feet. They have been stripped of most of their clothes, shoes, toiletries, furniture, food and valuable irreplicable items in the fire. Most importantly they have lost their home. Anything you can donate to help them get back on their feet will be greatly appreciated! Both of them are very proud people and don't like the idea of asking for help but everyone needs help every now and then. For anyone who is a local in the Groveland area who would like to donate cash or check can go to the Mechanics Bank at 18543 Main Street in Groveland and mention you are there to donate to Denyse and Danny Wallace. I know this money will help them a lot and I know Denyse and Danny and all the supporting family and friends would appreciate it as well! Thank you for reading and for your support.
