Hi All,

as most reading this would be well aware that Wally (Darren Wall) has been carrying a tumour around in his chest for the last 4-5 months .

There have been many hurdles for him and the Wall family to overcome to one get diagnosed then to finally get action and surgery done.

Surgery was done yesterday with early indications that they have removed all of the tumour . (There is still a lot of follow up diagnosis to take place and there will be an extensive rehabilitation plan put together with a very long recovery period.)

Wally will not be able to work through this time and Loise being his carer will need to be in a situation she can take time from her work to help him through this time also.

All that know them both know they are salt of the earth hard working people who have been heavily involved in the Port Douglas Crocs Football Cub and the Muddies Cricket Club. Not to mention there past contributions to cricket and football clubs in Melbournes Essendon area over many years as well…

This fund raiser is about giving them the opportunity to recover, be diligent in rehabilitating and do everything possible to give Wally the best chance to beat this cancer without/or the least amount of financial stress through this tough time..

Those that know his story will know he’s a tough prick and has had to fight cancer before on other occasions also.

All cancer is terrible and this one is on extremely bad list so I humbly ask if you can afford to help the Wall family with any amount of a donation I know they would be extremely grateful..
