The Walker family has always been hardworking and close-knit in the McGee/Mammoth community. Andrea, the amazing mom, owns Stellar Brew, the town’s favorite coffee shop, and is known for using her business to give back to the community. Scott, the dad, built Walker Industries to provide for his family and serve his neighbors. Together, they have three wonderful children: Bo (13), Levi (9), and Adeline (8).
Recently, the McGee Pack Fire swept through their area, leaving devastation in its wake. The Walkers lost both of their pump houses, all of their recreational gear for camping and outdoor adventures, and—most critically—Scott’s tools and heavy machinery for his construction business. Without these, his business is now inoperable. While their house is still standing, thanks to the strength of Walker Designs, they can’t move back in because of ongoing ash storms and toxic fumes in the burn area, making it unsafe for the family to return home. The children’s grandparents, Lou and Juliana, also live in McGee and are currently displaced as well, and they have goals of restoring McGee Creek after this tragedy.
Despite these overwhelming challenges, the Walkers remain hopeful and determined to rebuild. Your kindness and generosity will help them replace essential equipment, recover lost gear, and support their journey back to stability. By contributing to this fundraiser, you’re giving the Walkers a chance to restore their lives and move forward with hope. Thank you for standing with them during this difficult time.
