The Wales Women’s lacrosse team are currently preparing to compete at this year’s World Championship in Tokyo.

Each of our players ‘pay to play’ and maintain full-time jobs or education alongside competing internationally. Funds raised here will go directly towards supporting our journey; helping to cover essential costs such as travel, accommodation, training and coaching, and tournament expenses.

With your help, we can ensure the support needed to compete at the highest level and showcase Welsh lacrosse with Welsh pride and passion on the global stage.

What We Need Help Paying For:

• Flights and transportation to and from Tokyo

• Training like renting facilities and coaching

• Our gear and uniforms

How Much It Costs:

It costs about £9,250 for each player for the whole season. This includes:

• Programme Squad Fee - £700

• Tour – £1,850

• Residential weekends – £600

• Home internationals – £350

• Trip to Japan – £5,750 (this includes our playing kit - £130 and off-field kit - £250)

For the whole team, just the Japan trip costs £126,500.
