We are graciously seeking financial support for Kai Villaluz and family. Kai, only 16 years young, is a beautiful & vibrant human, full of life, and a strong young spirit who recently learned that life as they know it has changed. On June 23 Kai and her parents began a journey to learn about symptoms Kai had been experiencing only to discover that she had a heart murmur and blockage in the left side of her lung. After a whirlwind of quick decisions Kai and Coco (mom) flew to one of the best pediatric cardiology specialist facilities in the country, located in Utah. Later Kai received a diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension with a rare case resulting in a lifelong treatment plan starting with a PICC line to administer medications. Kai's case is so rare, that only 1% of the global population is diagnosed with this condition. Multiple procedures are to follow bringing about an unchartered path for Kai and the Villaluz Family.

The care Kai needs is limited to locations that are a great distance away from their home in Montana. Kai and Coco have been in Salt Lake City, Utah since June 23rd and Kai's care team expects the stay in SLC will be for an extended period of time. Thus, resulting in Coco to stay with Kai and Dhar to care for their other children at home back in Montana.

With the help of family to care for the kids and home, Dhar will be traveling back and forth to be with Coco & Kai. Your help will assist with taking some of the burden of unforeseen medical bills, travel expenses, lodging, and so much more.

Many of us are fortunate to know the love and support that the Villaluz family willingly gives to others, never expecting anything in return. And now they can use our help, love, and support.

As Kai's godmother, along with our family and friends, we are seeking that help for them. Please help us take one more burden off of their plate and alleviate some of the financial hurdles that they are already beginning to encounter. This assistance will be used to help them as they navigate through their journey to get Kai the best health care possible for this newly discovered, rare health condition that is bringing about great change for Kai and the family as a whole. The hope is to give Coco and Dhar some help and bring about some relief so they can focus all of their efforts on Kai while trying to digest and understand all they are learning from Kai's care team.
