Support the Vicki Breuker Family
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit this GoFund me page. My name is Tara Bennett, I am one of Vicki Breuker’s nieces. As many of you know my sweet Aunt Vicki and Uncle Don have had their world rocked recently.
She found out she had a 6 cm brain tumor, had brain surgery to remove the mass, and waited patiently on the pathology report. The pathology report came back as Glioblastoma, which is the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain. Not the report we’d prayed for.
Vicki, Don, and family will be looking at 6 weeks of radiation in Muskegon, five days a week. Chemotherapy will be for at least a year which includes monthly doctors appointments in Grand Rapids. Vicki owns her own quilting business which she is obviously not able to do at this time and Don’s work has been way scaled back as well so that he can be there and care for his wife.
I am setting this GoFundMe page up because my Aunt Vicki and Uncle Don would not ask in a million years for help like this. They are hard working, humble people who need to be “carried” through this scary time in their lives. The funds that are collected will go towards, medical copays, gasoline for travels to her appointments, her hospital stay that was not fully covered by insurance, etc.
If you know Vicki you know how much of a prayer warrior she is. Her faith is her foundation and even with this frightening diagnosis she is leaning on the Lord and trusting in his plan for her life. Vicki is someone’s mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandma, aunt, and friend. You are not only helping her but people who love and care for her deeply.
-Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.- Psalm 23:4
If you are visiting this page and cannot give I just ask that you pray for Vicki and her family during this difficult time. If you can give, every cent is appreciated. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus!
-Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.- Galatians 6:2
