Hola ya'll. I'm David. Late last year, I was raising funds to feed/fix/rehome 3 dogs that I was caring for down in Mexico. The Vargas family that stepped up to the plate to take Tom are migrant farmers and extremely poor. I've been helping them out with food and transportation since then, but I'm driving Uber these days and doing my best to get by myself. Earlier today, Rodrigo reached out to me asking for money. In all the time I've known them, they have never asked, so I know that things are bad. I didn't want to pry so I'm not sure if there is a medical issue, but I'd imagine he is probably struggling to even buy food for his wife and daughter. I am planning to get them some food and a little money this weekend but I'm limited by my current situation. I'm hoping to use this platform to help them out. They have electricity but no running water, no toilet. The wages for a day's work picking fruit in Baja are ridiculous. Their reality is something that most of us can't fathom, yet every time I've met them, they are smiling and grateful. Anyways... I'm just trying to do right by some very sweet dog lovers that could use some help. Muchas Gracias!
