On Sunday December 8, 2024, Walter Vanegas, a kind and loving father, suffered a brutal and senseless act of violence in London, UK. After being forcibly removed from McDonald's by two security guards, Walter was beaten and left for dead. By the time the ambulance arrived, he was unconscious and had collapsed. Doctor later confirmed the heartbreaking news: Walter is brain-dead, with no hope of recovery.
Walter's daughter, Michelle, lives in Colombia and is devastated. She does not have the financial means to travel to London to say goodbye to her father or to seek legal action against those responsible for this atrocity.
