Please consider helping Jennifer and Taylor Vandiver during this difficult time. Their beautiful son, Jackson, was diagnosed Leigh Syndrome in mid-May. This is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with no treatment or cure that affects 1 in 40,000 children worldwide. He has been in the hospital since the beginning of August. Jackson has been such a fighter through it all... H-flu, G-Tube, Tracheostomy, a metabolic episode, battling two different strains of bacteria, and seizure like activity. A recent MRI showed disease progression and brain atrophy. Unfortunately, there is nothing else that can be done. Jennifer and Taylor are now bringing him home on Hospice care for the last few days of his life. They would greatly appreciate any donation as they prepare to say goodbye to their sweet boy.
