On January 7th, the Vahedi family lost their home of nearly 30 years to the ravaging Palisades fire. Hooshang (age 85), Jessica (age 35), and Milo (their 3 year old Whoodle) evacuated in a hurry with only the clothes on their back and few other essentials. They lost everything imaginable, from clothes to beds, shoes and furniture. Additionally, they lost the few items they brought from Iran when they fled nearly 50 years ago.

Two years ago, Hooshang's wife (Vafa, Jasmin, and Jessica's mother) passed away after a 20 year battle with brain cancer. They were unable to take any of her photos or keepsakes, which is all that was physically left of her. While her memory will live on in their hearts indefinitely, they need help to begin rebuilding their lives.

Hooshang currently works 6 days a week at age 85 - any one that knows him knows he is the most kind and generous man, always offering his unconditional love and support. We put this GoFundMe together to help give him some support, in his greatest moment of need.

All funds kindly donated, will be used for uncovered expenses like temporary housing, essentials, and recovery, not for rebuilding.
