Support the Ubeda Family in Their Time of Need

Thank you for visiting this GoFundMe campaign.

My father, Jorge Ubeda, was recently diagnosed with cancer in March of 2025. Through numerous attempts to hone in on a specific type of cancer and an origin source, the most we were able to determine was that his cancer was a "poorly differentiated carcinoma" and that it had metastasized to several organs throughout his body, a testament to the aggressiveness that cancer can wield. Despite all of this, my father chose to live his life day-by-day, on his own terms, recognizing how precious it was to wake up each day.

Early Wednesday morning (5/21), alongside his wife who selflessly cared 24/7 for him, my father asked to sit up, asked for an embrace, and let my mother know that he was ready for whatever was to come. With that, he closed his eyes, laid back down, and stepped into the unknown, passing away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by a limitless love.

As we all know, despite the trials and tribulations that we face, life and time go on. Our goal with this campaign is to utilize the funds to cover funeral expenses and provide financial support to our mother, who selflessly gave everything she had to make my dad's transition the best and most comfortable that she could.

Those that know me and know my family, know that we don't ask for much, but we pour heavily into others' cups. I only ask that today, you consider doing so into ours, so that despite our shattered hearts, we can start to heal and live this new life.
