Transitioning back to civilian life is a personal event that Veterans struggle with. PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Sexual Trauma, and Suicide are just some of the things Veterans deal with on a daily basis and Two Wars: Over and Out wants to bring that to light. We are working on a new documentary that highlights the history and the destruction that PTSD causes in the Veteran community. Help us raise the start-up money to continue the Two Wars story. In 2023, the Emmy-Winning film Two Wars the Road to Integration was released. The film covered the topic of segregation, and eventual integration, of the United States military around the time of World War II. The film was well-received, won nine awards, and made it into 13 film festivals. It was also national broadcast on PBS in November 2023 and February 2024. The filmmakers realized the power of showing the adversity that veterans and active-duty military face outside of what we can see. The next film in the Two Wars series, Over and Out, will cover veteran reintegration into civilian life, PTSD, and suicide in a candid look at how war truly effects the individual and those that surround them. Two Wars: Over and Out will include expert analysis, a historical look at PTSD in war, and interviews with those that suffer with PTSD as well as families that deal with the loss of veteran suicide. PBS is already planning on airing this new film even though it is in the pre-production stage. This is a completely independent film which means all the funding will have to be raised. The creators of the film have currently raised $11,500 and are looking to secure another $8,500 to begin production. With your help, we can move into production and create the project we are all so proud of.
