Our dear friends,

On September 9 2024, Elizabeth was shockingly diagnosed with breast cancer. We have intentionally kept this battle private in an effort to protect our children, and would like to continue to do so. However, we have recently sensed the need to inform a greater portion of the church body as we ask foremost for your prayers: for healing, for discipline and endurance, for spiritual strength, for wise medical leadership, for protection for our children and our marriage, for the success of Corey’s dental practice under the additional challenge of new stressors. Secondly, we humbly ask for your financial support. We have chosen to pursue a holistic path to healing, and are confident the Lord has led us to these options, but unfortunately they are not covered under insurance. After much prayer, in an effort to avoid crushing debt while receiving sufficient care, we feel led to make our need known in the event any may be able and willing to help. And if not, we know the Lord will make a way otherwise. Please accept our humble request without any pressure or expectation. Above all, please encourage us through prayer as the Lord’s goodness and mercy follow us in this valley.

*As we intend to protect our children from unnecessary worry, please do not post any details of our situation on public forums. While it would likely benefit our cause in other ways, the likelihood of our children being made aware would greatly increase, and therefore not be helpful.
