Help the Trivette Family Secure a Home

Hello, my name is Michael Trivette, and I serve as the minister at the Blyth Rd Church of Christ in Victoria, TX. My wife, Lorie, and I have been married for 23 years and are blessed with three children—Alex, Kaylee, and Chloe.

Over the past eight years, our family has faced significant health challenges. My wife has battled multiple serious illnesses, such as combatting cervical cancer, which resulted in a complete hysterectomy, as well as her recent diagnosis of thyroid cancer. Both of our daughters have undergone surgeries for osteochondroses, and our youngest, Chloe, recently had knee surgery and is still undergoing physical therapy. In addition, I have been dealing with severe, ongoing health issues stemming from the COVID-19 vaccine.

I began my ministry at Blyth Rd Church of Christ in early January. Unlike my previous congregation, this church does not have a parsonage, so we must secure housing independently. However, the cost of property and housing on the Gulf Coast of Texas is far higher than anticipated. On top of that, while working here, my wife and children remain in Western Kentucky until the school year ends. In May, my wife, son, and oldest daughter will graduate, but until then, we are stretched thin, supporting two households on a single income.

Our medical expenses and transitions have depleted our savings, making it difficult to secure a permanent home. That’s why we are contacting our brothers and sisters in Christ for support. Your generosity will help us reunite as a family and establish a stable home where we can continue to serve the Lord and our community.
