With heavy hearts, we share that the Trapp family is grieving the sudden death of Scott. Scott was a loving, attentive dad to Dylan, Kaelyn, and Mara, and Tanis’s best friend, building a beautiful life together for the last 28 years. This is not the future that Tanis and the kids anticipated.

In the midst of this loss, the family has been surrounded by so much love and kindness, and are deeply gratefuI. If you’re able, we now invite you to support Tanis and the kids financially. Scott was the main income earner in the family, so we are seeking financial assistance for the Trapp family. Funds will go toward living expenses such as housing, groceries, health insurance, etc, as well as counseling and therapy for Tanis and the kids, and other needs that come with rebuilding their lives. All funds go directly to Tanis.

Our goal is to raise about 6 months’ worth of runway for Tanis to be able to focus on taking care of herself and her family without the added stress of finances. Six months is our starting goal, but any extra time we can give Tanis to plan for what’s ahead, free from money worries, would be a huge blessing to her and the kids.

We continue to be so grateful for the meals, prayers, and good thoughts. While they cannot respond to every message or gift, do know that your acts of love and support are not forgotten - each one is cherished.
