On the evening of November 25th, my beloved uncle Xavier Torres passed away after a three-year battle with liver cancer. Xavier was a hardworking, dedicated local mortgage broker who was passionate about helping others. His strength and love for his family carried him through the challenges he encountered during his battle with this disease. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Leyla, and their two sons, Xavier Dean and Ethan, who are now navigating this unimaginable loss.

Throughout his illness, Leyla stepped away from the workforce to care for him full-time. This was a decision made out of love and dedication, however, as their family begins to make arrangements and adjust to life without him, many responsibilities and unexpected costs are now coming to the forefront.

In this difficult time, the family is reaching out to those who have asked how they can help. Any support offered, whether through a donation or by simply sharing this page, will go toward easing the practical burdens of funeral expenses and helping them find steadiness as they move through their grief.

A memorial service will be held for Xavier on December 1, 2025 at 11:15 AM, located at Parklawn Cemetery (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853).
