It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of James Tijerina on Thursday, April 10th. His death from cardiac arrest was completely unexpected, leaving his family and loved ones in shock and deep sorrow.

James was the heart of his family — a devoted partner to Amy, the love of his life the past 33 years, married for 17 of those wonderful years, and a proud and loving father to their two children, Jackson and Jade. His smile was contagious, his laugh unforgettable, and his kindness touched everyone he met. He was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and loved.

In addition to this heartbreaking loss, the Tijerina family has been carrying the weight of ongoing medical challenges with their son Jackson, who has been facing cancer. The family has remained strong through it all though it's been a difficult journey, both emotionally and financially.
