In the early morning hours of January 26, the Thorpe family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire took the life of a beloved family member (22-year-old Jacob Bohannon) and destroyed their only home. In a matter of minutes, they lost everything.
Two adults, three kids, and a 3-year‑old toddler escaped the fire with their lives, but nothing else. They are now completely displaced, grieving the loss of someone they loved deeply, and facing homelessness with only the clothes they were wearing.
The emotional toll is overwhelming. Along with the pain of losing a loved one, the family is struggling with the sudden reality of having no home, no belongings, and no stability. The children are especially scared and confused, trying to understand why they can’t go home.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Emergency housing and temporary living expenses
- Clothing, shoes, food, and basic necessities
- Helping the family begin the long process of rebuilding their lives
Any amount, no matter how small, will help ease this burden. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the family in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support during the most difficult time of their lives.
