A little backstory: During the 20 week anatomy scan, it’s was noticed that one of the babies had something on its heart and were sent for more in depth testing. This testing showed one baby (Connor) is completely healthy, while the other twin (Casey) was found to have several issues. Casey has a congenital heart defect causing only a single ventricle to form along with the great arteries being transposed. He also has heterotaxy where some of his organs are flipped to the wrong side of the body than their normal position. Due to the complexity of the heart, they were referred to Riley’s Children’s in Indianapolis where they have been undergoing close monitoring for the remainder of the pregnancy and delivery. Both of the babies were born at Riley’s Children Hospital and will be required to stay there a minimum of 4-6 weeks to monitor Casey closely. Casey will have to have 3 procedures within the first 4 years of life to reroute the blood flow to his heart.

The funds raised will go towards their traveling/lodging expenses traveling to and from Riley's Children's hospital as well as aiding in medical bills and anything else they may need as a new family of 5 with an early arrival of their new little ones.
