My name is Donovan, and I am directing a documentary about Crowbar and its history in Tampa’s music scene.
Crowbar is more than a venue. It is a cornerstone of Tampa’s underground music culture, a place where generations of artists, fans, and communities have gathered, performed, and grown. This film is focused on documenting its final months, its legacy, and the role it has played in shaping that cultural identity. This is about preserving those stories before they are lost.
All funds raised will go directly toward production costs, including:
- Show attendance and filming access
- Travel for interviews and on-location shooting
- Archival materials and licensing
- Film festival submissions and distribution
Every donor will be recognized on social media and credited in the finished documentary as a thank you for helping preserve this piece of music history.
Thank you for supporting independent documentary filmmaking and helping ensure sure these stories are not forgotten.
