On Tuesday, August 25th, an unimaginable three-vehicle crash occurred on I-215 southbound in Utah.In an instant, we lost two beautiful souls. Jody W. Thackeray (68) and his daughter, Desiree S. Thackeray (40), both of Ogden, passed away from fatal injuries sustained in the crash. Jody and Desiree were the heart of our family—full of love, kindness, and a light that brightened every room they walked into. To lose a father and daughter at the exact same time is a profound nightmare that we are still trying to process.While we grieve this monumental loss, our family is facing an immediate, multi-layered crisis. Jody was the primary provider and full-time caregiver for two vulnerable loved ones who relied on him completely.
