The Four Tear Children Have Lost Their Parents

This GoFundMe was created in support of the four Tear children after the unexpected, tragic death of their mother (and our sister) Alicia Walls Tear on August 8, 2024. This just 14 months after the loss of their father, Jason, an army veteran who proudly served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He had passed from cancer last year and now tragedy has visited these children once more. Alison (9), Xander (8), Gage (8), and Lauren (6) are stunned by this sudden loss and their life has been upended. Susan and I, along with their Mom-Mom Bonnie are working together to support them as they face a future without their mom and dad.

The goal is to ease the financial strain that comes with such a loss. Any funds raised will be used for immediate needs such as funeral costs, food, and clothing, in addition to housing and any other expenses they may need covered in the future. Your generosity can make a significant difference in their lives. Every donation, regardless of size, will have a meaningful impact. One of the twins asked their Mom-Mom if this now makes them "orphans." We promise to show them that no one with family and friends will ever be an orphan. We hope Alicia and Jason know their children will always be loved and cared for.
