Support the Taylor Family After Devastating Barn Fire
If you know Dave Taylor, you know the kind of neighbor he is—the kind who shows up without being asked, offers the shirt off his back, and gives more than he ever takes. A devoted father and grandfather, a true friend, and a steward of the land, Dave has always been the kind of person who quietly strengthens our community.
In the early morning hours of July 17, 2025, tragedy struck when the Taylor family’s barn caught fire. While we are beyond grateful that no one was injured, the fire caused a devastating loss. The barn and nearly everything inside was destroyed, including:
John Deere 9660 Combine
New Holland 488 Haybine
New Holland 55 Hay Rake
John Deere 510 Baler
John Deere M15 Batwing Mower
Case 580C Backhoe
38 large hay bales (the family’s entire winter feed supply)
Dirt bike and adult-sized go-cart
The Taylors now face the heartbreaking reality of rebuilding without the equipment and resources they rely on daily to care for their land and livestock.
We’re asking our community to come together—just like Dave has always done for others. Every donation, big or small, will go toward replacing essential equipment and securing hay to feed their animals through the winter.
In addition to financial support, the family would deeply appreciate hay donations. If you’re able to contribute hay or know someone who can, please reach out.
Let’s show the Taylor family that the kindness they’ve shared with so many comes full circle.
