Support the Taylor Family after a tragic accident

July 5,2021 update from Nicole

Well I’m home now and as much as it hurts and I feel slightly lost as we all know you had such a personality and presence. I can’t help but hope I honoured you the best I could. I truly want to give you the world because you deserve nothing less but I hope this will do. I tried in such a horrible time to bring our life to you and let everyone know the man I knew and loved, the man some people got and why our love was respected and loved and the reason the support is incredibly huge for our family, but to also bring our home to bring as much warmth to support you as you were giving so much, to take in all the silver linings as you would expect nothing less than some gratitude as our family has helped you give such amazing gifts to families who may not have thought they had a chance, to celebrating your fav day with a good amount of the people you somehow selected to be in our world through you as an individual and real our family is. I sit here in such pain but I’m smiling deep down with thinking currently you’re doing your last selfless gift to the world, truly giving a miracle to families and really allowing our family to provide a piece we were able to get and now share with the world. I’ll also have you know I shared so many stories, every meaning of everything I brought into the room, I really pushed limits in making sure they brought it into the OR tonight to honour you, I won’t lie it was a bit extra but you don’t deserve any less, people are truly touched by our story and I’ll have you know I even got the 10 pack of chicken nuggets Colin and Katelyn owed you on the way home and came home to so many amazing things from our family and dream team (now being extended to our community and everyone supporting our family in some way or another) As much as you don’t win here, you kind of do as being remembered as a true hero. This comes from the heart so mind the probably horrible English ‍♀️ #TeamWorkMakeTheDreamWork rest easy, I hope I stayed strong enough and made you proud, now it’s time to truly be here for myself and our family. I love you forever and always until my last breath as you would say

July 4, 2021- update

Today July 4 is a day Chase loves! The Americans do it right! Fireworks, food, family, friends and celebrating. Chase today is all about you! Friends and family will gather at Sunnybrook, as Chase will eventually gain his wings. Chase is able to donate some of his organs to bring life to someone else! He will be donating his lungs, heart, liver, kidneys and pancreas (2 people). This is very special and makes Nicole even more proud of her husband as he is able to help someone else and their families. Nicole is happy to have blessed those families with those positive calls.

Please continue to say your prayers for Chase, Nicole and their family. But also for the families who are receiving his organs for a safe transplant and a healthy life ahead.

The Taylor Family xo

Hi, my name is Kim Jackson and I am fundraising on behalf of the Taylor family. Chase Taylor, 32, was in a tragic motorcycle accident on Monday June 28, 2021 in Keswick, Ontario. Chase was unresponsive at the scene and has been in critical care at Sunnybrook hospital, in a medically induced coma. The last few days have been very difficult on the family, watching their husband, father, son, soul mate and best friend suffer. They have been by his side day and night. His wife, Nicole, has not left his side. Nicole has been playing his favourite songs, reading him their vows, showing him pictures of their life. His children have made pictures, family and friends are sending endless prayers for a miracle. The life they have been building and a love so strong that anyone in the room can feel. She is faced with very challenging times and heartbreaking decisions. Chase has been in many surgeries, suffered loss of his arm and thumb, a collapsed lung and has had multiple strokes. Chase remains in a medically induced coma at this time.

So here I am asking all my friends to help me help them and show Chase he is not alone and loved. I am hoping you will be able to donate and no amount is too small. We know that times are tough for many and please do not feel compelled to donate. We will be just as grateful if you could please share this Go Fund Me for Chase Taylor. A kind, caring, loving, funny, determined, hard working family man. Chase Taylor and family we all love you. Your army is here for you. Much love, prayers and hugs.

Love forever and always,

Team Taylor XOXO
