I am writing on behalf of Pat Taulbee, my lifelong best friend's father, as he has suffered an immeasurable loss due to a house fire. I've been lucky enough to have known the Taulbee's for almost 30 years. Pat is the kindest, most generous man, who would truly give a stranger the shirt off his back. He would never ask for help, as he is always the one giving it, so this is why I am asking for your donation during this time.

Sunday night, the second story of the Taulbee's family home in DeLeon Springs caught fire, destroying the house and most of his belongings. Thankfully, he was able to escape his home unharmed with his faithful companion, Marley, but was not able to save the house, as the fire quickly engulfed the entire second story. The first story was untouched by fire, but as a result of the fire rescuers' efforts, there is significant damage to the entire house.

This was not just a house to their family, it was a childhood home Pat built for his two daughters, Brittany and Alecia. It was a safe place for the countless amount of rescue animals his girls would bring home. It was a home full of memories, old and new.

Your donation will be sent directly to the Taulbee's and used to help Pat rebuild, and replace all he has lost.
