On May 30th, 2025, Alex and Vanessa Tapia experienced the heartbreaking loss of their beloved son, Austin. Born with Zellweger syndrome, a rare and life-limiting genetic disorder, Austin showed incredible strength and resilience during his 10 months of life.

Throughout his journey, Austin required extensive medical care, including frequent doctor visits, specialized equipment, oxygen support, and ongoing medical supplies. The emotional and financial toll on the Tapia family has been immense.
