Support the SWARM - Part 2!!
2018 was an amazing year for the Knoxville Hornets Girl's Team.
The team went to Nationals Last year and what a showing it was. They were seeded 11th going into the tourney and broke seed and placed 9th overall in the nation.
Now...1 year later and the girls have been invited again to the BIG SHOW!
The Ultiworld High School National Invite is a tournament that is held annually (this is the 3rd year) where the top teams in the nation compete against one another to see who is the best. It's an amazing honor to be invited again and this tournament is the culmination of the girl's high school season.

The last 3 years have been a steady incline of progress for the Knoxville Hornets.
2017
- The girls took 2nd in the TN High School State Tournament.
2018
- The girls took 1st overall in the TN High School State Tournament
- The girls took 1st overall in the Jr. Terminus Tournament
2019
- The girls took 1st overall in the Jr. Terminus Tournament
- The girls took 1st overall in the BOS Ultimate College Tourney
- The girls placed 4th overall, breaking seed from 7th, in the Paideia Cup
Needless to say that the progress of these young ladies have been steady and is a testament to the work that has been put in on and off the field and the amount of sacrifice that has come from the ladies, and their parents (because seriously, we can't do this without them), to get to this point has been nothing short of astounding and we can’t tell you how excited we, as a coaching staff, are.
HOWEVER,
This tournament is not cheap and again we are asking for the Community's help. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In order to ease the burden for the girls, and their parents, we are asking you to #SupportTheSwarm and consider donating to our Go Fund Me.
Donations will be used for the following travel expenses:
- Tournament Bid Fee
- Hotels
- Van Rentals
- Food & Meals
- Tournament Snacks
Any and all donations, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated and any excess funds will be donated to Knoxville Youth Ultimate ( https://www.knoxvilleyouthultimate.com/) for the betterment of the league, so that future teams can benefit from your generosity.

Going to nationals for the second time and being able to represent Knoxville ultimate is something I am very honoured to do. Not only because Knoxville is my home but, it's where my ultimate community is. I have learned so much from countless individuals in this community who want nothing more then for it to grow. I certainly wouldn't be going to nationals without them. Nationals is very expensive though so we need your help! Anything you might be able to give would be amazing.
