We are Zoey and Emely, co-founders and Teacher Leaders of The Sunflower School, a new Montessori charter school under Wildflower Montessori Public Schools of Colorado. As Teacher Leaders, we are not just educators—we are also administrators, deeply involved in every aspect of creating a nurturing, child-centered learning environment.

Our school is more than just a classroom—it’s a micro-school, embedded in the community, where children in North Aurora thrive in an environment designed for independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Starting a new school is an exciting challenge, and we want to ensure that The Sunflower School begins its journey strong and well-equipped. To do that, we are raising $6,000 to cover essential startup costs.
