The sudden passing of Chase Sudano has left his family, friends, teammates, and the entire community heartbroken. Chase was a member of the Saint Augustine Prep Class of 2028 and a dedicated member of the Hermits wrestling team. He was a talented young man with an incredibly bright future, but what people will remember most is who he was away from competition. Chase was laid back, funny, and genuinely well liked by everyone who knew him. He had a way of making people laugh and bringing a smile to those around him.
The impact of this loss reaches far beyond one family or one wrestling team. Chase was loved by his teammates, classmates, coaches, and friends. His passing has deeply affected the Saint Augustine Prep student body and the entire New Jersey wrestling community. Many of these young men have grown up wrestling together and share a bond that goes far beyond the mat. Chase was part of that brotherhood, and his absence will be felt forever.
During this unimaginable time, we are asking the community to come together and support Chase’s parents, Tony and Tina, his brother Justin, and the entire Sudano family. The funds raised will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, while also providing support to the Sudano family as they take time away from work to grieve and be together during this unimaginable loss. The goal is to ease some of the financial pressure they may face in the weeks and months ahead, allowing them to focus on their family and honoring Chase’s memory. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help support the Sudano family. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers and share this fundraiser with others who may wish to help. Chase will always be remembered as a beloved son, brother, friend, teammate, and Hermit. His impact on the people around him will never be forgotten.
