The Suarez family—our beloved Kevin and his devoted mother—have recently been deported to Ecuador after years of building a life here in the U.S. Their sudden removal has left an unfilled gap in our community, particularly at Kidz Village Preschool, where Kevin has been a bright light to everyone who’s had the privilege of knowing him.

Kevin is one of those children you never forget. Since joining our preschool, he has truly blossomed—not just academically, but socially and emotionally. He greets everyone with the biggest smile, and his kindness is unmatched. He treats his classmates like family, offering hugs to friends who feel sad, holding hands during walks, and making sure everyone has someone to play with. Kevin is not just a student—he’s the heart of our school.

Behind this incredible little boy is a mother who embodies strength, love, and sacrifice. Kevin’s mom has worked tirelessly to give her son the best possible start in life. She has advocated fiercely for his education, always ensuring he had the resources, care, and opportunities he deserves. Her sacrifices—emotionally, financially, and physically—are a testament to the power of a mother’s love.

The Suarez family was in the process of building a stable life here when, due to the current political climate, they were abruptly stripped of the opportunity to continue their journey. This experience has been deeply traumatic and destabilizing, and they are now back overseas without the resources or support they had worked so hard to secure.

They are starting over from scratch—and they need our help.
