Hello HSE family and friends of the Sturges Family,

As many of you may know, beloved and longtime HSE teacher Eric Sturges recently lost his hard-fought battle with cancer. Eric is survived by his wife Carrie, daughter Caroline, and son Elijah.

Elijah is currently attending Ball State. Caroline, his daughter, has fought her own battles with epilepsy and other medical issues her whole life and has required care from Eric, Carrie, family and others. Caroline's current care is through Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Carrie must continue to provide a considerable amount of daily care for Caroline as does a nurse.

The family could use a great deal of help and while money doesn’t replace Eric, it would definitely help in these most difficult circumstances. Please consider donating anything that you can to help take care of the medical bills, celebration of life costs, and to help Carrie care for Caroline and Elijah during this tough time.
