I have had this burning desire to write a book about my 40-year love affair with Hawaiian Airlines. The recent purchase of Hawaii’s last airline and kama’aina institution has fast-forwarded that ambition. My illustrious career with Hawaiian Air began in 1985.

This video was a pet project of mine and completed in the early days of flash mobs. Kumu hula Patrick Makuakane translated it perfectly and with authenticity. Big mahalo.

I traveled the world in my early days as a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant, operating on numerous charter flights across the globe.

Over my 4 decades in and around Hawaiian Airlines, I was privileged to have a seat at the boardroom table for 25 of those years.

On aircraft emblazoned with the place I called home and Pualani adorning the tail of the airplane, facing forward and leading the way safely, boldly, and with a Hawaiian sense of place. It will also cover life before Hawaiian and life after in a tell-all but factual manner.
