In response to the outpouring of support and inquiries about how to assist Tate and our family during this challenging period, we've created this page to rally behind Tate and support him in his fight against Osteosarcoma.

Our son Tate is a 17 year old junior in High School and the middle child of 6 siblings between his two large blended families. Like most teenagers, he enjoys spending time with friends, his girlfriend, and expressing his style through his love for clothes. He's an avid tennis player, loves cars, video games and building intricate creations with Legos.

On May 3rd, our world was shaken when we learned of a suspicious mass in Tate's right femur. He was quickly seen by the local Children's Hospital for further examination, where our worst fears where confirmed and Tate was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. His amazing medical team wasted no time in starting an equally aggressive treatment plan to fight this cancer, and on May 14th Tate began Chemotherapy.

As he begins his treatment journey, our family is dedicated to providing him with unwavering support every step of the way. Due to the aggressive nature of both Tate's cancer and his chemotherapy plan, he is relocating to Seattle for the duration of his treatment, which will keep him there through at least the remainder of this year. This means that our family will be navigating between two homes, one in Seattle near the hospital, and our home in Lynden, to ensure he receives the care and support he needs while also trying to maintain stability for the rest of our family.

The support we are already receiving from our community is truly making a world of difference for us as we begin to face the challenges of Tate's cancer journey. Any donations we may recieve will further help alleviate the stress of medical bills, accommodations, transportation, and other essential expenses, allowing us all to focus on what truly matters – Tate's health and well-being.
