For McKenna: A Light Lost, A Family Held
On June 25th, we lost the brightest, kindest, funniest, most beautiful soul; McKenna Staines.
There are no words that can hold the weight of this loss. Only broken hearts trying to carry each other. Only love, and grief, and family. Held together right now by duct tape and borrowed strength.
We’re the Moore/Staines family. We’re proud. We’re deep-rooted. We circle the wagons. But today, our circle is missing a piece. And we need your help to fill it. Not just to cover costs, but to carry this heartbreak in a world that keeps turning anyway.
If you’re here, it’s because you knew McKenna, or love someone who did. You know that she was one of the good ones. The best ones. This isn’t just about a funeral. This is about all the little ways a family needs help when the unthinkable happens.
Your support will help with:
• Memorial and funeral costs
• Grief counseling for Sheila, Arend, and Jarrett
• House expenses and basic needs while we navigate this heartbreak
No amount is too small. No gesture is unnoticed. And even if you can’t give, we feel your love. We also know sometimes grief needs some where to go.
We’ll never stop saying her name. McKenna.
We love you, Moore!
