Support Hunter Through The Tragic Loss Of His Parents

Donation protected
I’m asking for donations to help the St. John family at this time. I don’t know all of the specifics, but my mother, Candis Eavey, is close friends with the family and has been helping them out almost daily. Bryan St. John has been battling kidney cancer for quite some time now, and now spinal cancer as well. He was supposed to start radiation a couple of weeks ago but ended up in the ER with a bowel obstruction. He is unfortunately not expected to make it because he’s no longer a candidate for surgery and has been put on hospice care. His wife, Debbie, is wheelchair-bound with her own list of health issues, including an amputated leg, diabetes, and kidney disease (or kidney failure, I’m not sure which), which requires her to need dialysis regularly. Debbie was admitted to the ICU today with possibly sepsis from an infection. They’re still unsure from what, last I knew.

All of this has been extremely hard on not only her and Bryan both having to be away from each other right now, but their 18-year-old son, Hunter, as well, who is also disabled. Hunter faces the fear now of losing both parents and is having an extremely hard time coping with it. This family does not deserve this. They would literally give someone the shirt off their backs if they needed to. My heart hurts and goes out to them in this very fragile time.

All funds raised will go to the St. John family for any traveling expenses, to Hunter while his parents are unable to provide for him the basic necessities, and towards the comfortability during this scary and hard time that each one of them very much deserves.
We’re all praying for a miracle for Bryan and that Debbie makes a full recovery and can come home to her husband and son. I know they would never ask for help themselves, so I’ve taken matters into my own hands in hopes of lessening their already long list of worries during this time so they can all focus on getting better and reuniting as a family. Thank you to anyone who donates. Anything helps, even just a share.

update: 2/24/25
Debbie is still in the ICU and isn’t expected to make it home to see her husband Bryan before he passes.
Bryans hospice nurse has confirmed he’s entered the molding stage and has been given 1-4 days left. I can’t even imagine what Hunter must be going through right now losing his dad and having his mom in the hospital in a critical condition. My heart goes out to this family and pray that Debbie pulls through.

Update: 2/25/25
Unfortunately last night Bryan lost his battle with cancer with Hunter by his side. Please send this family prayers during this time as they grieve the loss of a great man. Continued prayers for Debbie to get better and make it home safely as she is still in the ICU and for Hunter as he grieves the loss of his father and the temporary absence of his mother.

Final Update 2/26/25: It is with a heavy heart that I must share the news that Debbie has also passed away earlier today and joined Bryan up in heaven. Poor Hunter has now lost both of his parents only two days apart. I can’t even begin to imagine what he must be going through right now but I know he needs all of the love and support he can get. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and please share share share this go fund me. Anything helps. 18 is too young to lose both of your parents. The least we can do as a community is support Hunter and hopefully lessen the financial burden that comes with the loss of two loved ones. Rest in Peace Bryan and Debbie.
