Support The Snake - Opera based on 2016 Presidential Debate
Donation protected
The Snake is a satirical opera in one act based on the events of the 2nd presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in 2016. This darkly humorous chamber opera recounts the events of the debate, word for word, and casts a critical eye on the right, the left and the media. Fundraising helps pay for rehearsals, costumes, props, recording and venue fees. Performances will take place Autumn 2024 in Queens and Manhattan, NY with support from the International Brazilian Opera Company (IBOC) and NYFA Queens Arts Council New Works grant. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
