I am trying to raise money to help the Smith family in their time of need. Robert Smith, father of 5 children, was in a severe car accident on Wednesday. His injuries are extensive, and he will need to be in the hospital, then possibly a rehab, and he was the one working.

During the chaotic situation yesterday, Katie Garrigan, Rob's partner and the mother of their 5 children, was trying to make her way to the scene to be by Rob's side and ruptured her Achilles. She will now need surgery for her Achilles. Unfortunately, due to a lot of back issues Katie has endured throughout the years, she has been unable to work. So this made Rob, for a lack of better words, the breadwinner for the family.

Any and all help will be appreciated as Rob has a very long road of recovery in front of him and Katie will also be out of commission for a good 8 to 10 weeks depending on the extent of her rupture. The family of 7 are residing in housing that charges a little under 700 a week. It is my hope to help keep up with bills and any other medical needs they may need to make sure this family stays safe and healthy and has time to heal.
