In Loving Memory of Lisa Smith.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Lisa Smith. After a courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a rare and devastating lung disease, Lisa peacefully passed away at home on February 28, 2025.

For the past few years, Lisa fought tirelessly against this relentless illness. Despite her strength and unwavering spirit, the progression of IPF made it impossible for her to obtain life or death insurance, leaving her family with unexpected financial burdens.

Lisa leaves behind her devoted husband, Charles Smith, her cherished children, and her adored grandchildren. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, and we are all struggling to cope with this profound loss.

We are creating this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial strain on Charles and the family during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will be used to cover the mounting death expenses and to provide much-needed support as they navigate life without Lisa.

All funds raised will be paid directly to Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio, to assist with the funeral arrangements, which are currently underway.
