Many of you do not know how hard it is to lose a loved one and I envy you for that. Death is easiest on those who pass away. The survivors are left with the grief of knowing your spouse, child, parent, grandparent will never walk in the door again, you will never be able to give them a hug again or tell them how much they mean to you. We are left trying to cover the cost of the medical bills, funeral cost, attorney fees, transportation, etc.
My name is Dusty Powell and I am now feeling that weight of all costs involved. We were not prepared for such a sudden death. My husband went to the hospital for some testing in June. On one of the scans the technicians noticed a spot on his lung. He had some more tests and exams done and was sent home. After this week of testing, he was still tired but doing good. On July 14th he went in for the biopsy on the spot on his lung. After this biopsy, he went from just tired to sleeping all day, having a hard time breathing, and gained a lot of water weight. July 29th I take him back to the Emergency Room. Blood work comes back that he had Methicillin-Sensitive Staphylococcus Epidermidis (MSSE) Infection and healthcare-associated pneumonia (HCAP). He spent the next month and a half in the hospital and never fully recovered. September 16th, I bring him home to hospice. He passed away that same day. Phil was only 58.
September 16th my world was flipped upside down and I am seeking help to ease this financial burden I am facing. Thank you for your help and support.
