Support the Skudders

Hi Everyone,

As many of you will know it's been a rough week for our family.

My husband had become very ill over the past 2 weeks and was first admitted into the emergency dept at Casey Hospital on Friday afternoon. Within 24hours he was transferred to Monash Clayton Hospital and then within the next 24hours he ended up in ICU due to a bacterial infection in his bloodstream.

This infection has also lead to the need for extra support for his kidneys through dialysis. As scary as it sounds, he has made some major improvements and the treatment plan is working, but it is a waiting game as my husbands body needs time for the antibiotics to fight the infection and then heal overall.

With my husband currently in hospital and me being off work, there are a few financial constraints we are faced with. We are not the type who would generally put our hands up when we need help, so as you can imagine, this isnt an easy situation. We are leaning into our vulnerability to say "Hey, we'd really like some extra support and a bit of help".

We are reaching out to anyone who might be able to give us a hand up by donating towards our cause. All funds will go towards our Rent & Utilities in the next few weeks whilst my husband is healing and unable to work. We appreciate all the love and support we have received and are truly grateful for everything.
