A month ago our beautiful mother Corinne was diagnosed with a particularly rare and aggressive type of cancer known as small cell carcinoma.

From the moment of her diagnosis, there are two things that my family have been working towards; to ensure she has the best possible care during her illness, and to ensure that she is able to be with her entire family again. For this reason, we are looking at organising a trip for her family to be reunited.

Corinne was born in a small French village, in a large close knit family. When she was 25, she moved to Australia to marry my father, and her entire family haven't all been in the same place at the same time since.

Corinne's love and devotion has demonstrated that through positivity; doubt and fear will always be at it's weakest. Her infectious humour and laughter has certainly had a major impact on my own life and through her family and friends she continues to spread that love and happiness.

We want to show our appreciation and support by ensuring she gets the best possible care whilst enjoying as much of life as possible. We are looking to raise 15-20k to realise her dreams and to give her the best fighting chance through a variety of treatments.

When I first mentioned GoFundMe, and said that it might be possible to go and see her family in France, she cried and said to me:
