My name is Stacy Silva and I'm fundraising on behalf of my family - specifically, my youngest brother, Diego, who just turned 18 in January.

Diego is so giving, loving, and smart - he's always loved tinkering around with things, whether it's with car mechanics or with computers. It's his senior year of high school, and he's unable to finish due to these procedures.

On February 10th, Diego got diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), a rare and aggressive cancer that develops in soft tissue, usually muscle tissue, and grows in muscles attached to the skeleton.

He is currently doing chemotherapy treatments - 5 days on, 2 weeks off to first shrink the cancerous tumor, then schedule a surgery to fully remove it. He is being extraordinarily brave throughout all of this.

We're raising these funds to provide relief for my family, his medical appointments, and impending surgery.

We were so excited for him to graduate, start his life, and make his own decisions - we know that will come one day, but we're first having to battle this.
