Support the Silva Family After Losing Their Home

Dear friends and family,

We are heartbroken to share that my cousin's family, the Silva's, (Wendy, Gabriel, Elias 16, Esther 13 and Ezra 6), have lost their home in the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but the loss of their home and all their belongings is overwhelming. The Silva's have lived in Altadena for the last 14 years. Thanks to Wendy suggesting this area my wife and I moved to East Pasadena 5 years ago and have fallen in love with this vibrant community.

The Silva's are active members of the Altadena community. They dedicate so much of their time and energy to various organizations such as the Altadena Chamber of Commerce, Altadena Rotary, the Altadena Heritage Society, and the Pasadena Unified School District, just to name a few.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, the Silva's are facing the daunting task of recovery as they find their new normal. They need our support now more than ever. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help them through this challenging time.
