Support the Shreve's

I am raising funds to support the medical expenses for my dear friends, David and Shawn Shreve.  

In July 2015 Shawn was diagnosed with Leukemia. She finished chemo in August and was told she would be in remission for many years.

In December 2015 David was scheduled for a colonoscopy. He received a phone call no one is prepared to hear-the word cancer. His doctor told him that he had a tumor and it was malignant. He was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.

Shawn got well just in time to take care of David. He started radiation in January 2016, followed by surgery & chemo.

In the middle of his chemo, David’s employer made the decision to move the company from South Carolina to Tennessee. So during the difficult time, they had to transition everything to a new city. David finished his chemo in Tennessee in October 2016. He had CT scans and no signs of cancer. They were so happy to hear this news! Now they were both in remission.

Shawn wasn’t feeling well in November 2017, so she went to the doctor and it was confirmed that her leukemia had come back. Not long after she was diagnosed again, it was time for David’s follow up CT scans. He also found out that he was no longer in remission.

They made the decision this time to go to Cancer Treatment Center of Atlanta.
They are both currently being treated there now & receiving chemo. David has been very sick this time and hasn’t been able to work. Shawn is still working part time to try to make ends meet as much as possible.

They still have medical bills dating back to 2015 that they are trying to pay and continuing to receive many more along with everyday expenses.
