Life can change in an instant. The Miguel Shockman family is currently grieving his unexpected loss. Miguel's wife, Jessica and children Tristan (30), Ashton(19), Evan (17) and Monroe (11), are so well loved by the entire Crookston community. So many have reached out wanting to offer support and how to help the family. Unfortunately, Miguel did not have life insurance. Jessica and her kids are strong, independent helpers; it is not in their nature to be the recipients of helping. They do understand that this might be their time to let the larger community help. Funds raised will be used toward funeral expenses and living expenses, as Jessica is self-employed, and will be without pay during her time off.
If you would like to support the family, any and all donations are so very appreciated. The family also is endlessly appreciative of all the ways in which this community has come alongside with messages, love and prayers.
With gratitude on behalf of the Shockman Family,
Tara Miller-Rodriguez and Casey Anderson, friends and former colleagues of Jessica
