Many people have asked how they can support the Shew family after the tragic death of their husband and father Ben. This go fund me is a response to those requests.
Benjamin William Shew died Tuesday May 8, 2018 in Unicoi.
He was a native Johnson City, son of Joseph and Judy Nyoka Reece Shew.
Ben was a mechanic and electrician for Specialty Tire Inc. of Unicoi.
He was a devoted member of Cherokee Church of Christ.
Ben loved being with his children, he was active in Boy Scouts and coached his children in little league.
No words can express the amount of love shared between him and his family.
Survivors including his parents are: his wife, Caitlin McFadden Shew; his two children, William Carter Shew and Clair Marie Shew; his brother, Joseph Barker Shew and his wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Alexis Rose Shew; his mother in law Patty Beuris and her husband, Bill Beuris; a sister and brother in law Andrea and Adrian Mociran, two nephews Lavi Mociran and Ryan Coggins; and several extended family members.
