Matt, Hannah, and Big Brother Cayson are eagerly awaiting little Brynlee’s arrival!

Recently, during a routine growth scan at 32 weeks, Hannah’s doctors found a heart abnormality in little Brynlee. Matt and Hannah have followed up with doctors in Johnson City and at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to help better understand her condition, discuss plans for delivery, and to make a plan for Brynlee’s future.

Matt and Hannah will travel to Nashville around 38 weeks (early July) and will hang out in Nashville until Brynlee comes, and for about a week after. They will then come back home for 4-8 weeks and then return to Nashville for Brynlee’s first procedure. This trip will have them in Nashville for another 2-3 weeks. Her second procedure will also be in Nashville sometime after she is four months old. With a final surgery sometime after she turns 3.

Her heart condition is rare, but we are so thankful that the doctors were able to identify it before she was born so they can be in the right place to get the care she needs. With relocating comes unexpected expenses, time off work, and bills that still need to be paid. The Lord is good and has already made a way. We trust that His plans for Brynlee are far better than we can even imagine right now.
