THE SHADOW WITHIN - Short Horror Film

When an overworked college student begins hearing voices in her head, her hatred for her narcissistic roommate summons a dark entity.

We aim to spread awareness on societal repression - the socially expected act of repressing one's emotions. Inspired by Carl Jung’s concept of the Shadow, this film dives into the psyche’s breaking point: when what we suppress about ourselves becomes something deadly.

We’re Apex Productions: high school filmmakers using horror to expose real societal issues. Your support funds our cast, crew, catering, VFX, and professional audio. Every dollar helps bring this our vision to life. Let’s make something unforgettable together!

$1400 - CGI and Virtual Effects

$400 - Food and catering costs

$500 - Audio and Score

All unused funds will be donated to the NAMI Charity (mental health charity) \
