Support the SHAC! Help create a community pottery studio!

Welcome to the SHAC! The SHAC (South Hills Artists Collaborative) is an upcoming non-profit Ceramics Studio in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA.

Our mission in forming the SHAC is to create a safe place where everyone can feel comfortable creating with clay. We will be teaching classes for everyone: children and adults, beginners and seasoned potters, and every beautiful expression of humanity along the way.

We are looking forward to creating a community of potters that support and learn from each other as well as creating a space with highly qualified teachers and gifted guest artists.

Right now we are looking for support as we build out the space with cubbies for student work, solid surfaces to create work on, and sinks for washing.

Our stretch goal is to expand the space and open our community to other forms of craft (blacksmithing, glass working, fiber arts, and bookmaking), but for now we just want to get our hands dirty!
